Ahh... I had such a good blurb for this painting on the old site. So let's try again: this painting is (notionally) based on the fourteenth chapter of James Joyce's novel Ulysses,
in which brothel madam Bella Cohen attempts to turn protagonist Leopold
Bloom and his companion Stephen Daedalus into swine, albeit metaphorically.
However, most people think this is just a weird picture of me with five arms and some pigs. Still, an excellent book - do go off and read it.
Here I will again point out that my doing an English Literature degree has not been entirely in vain.
